The Best Dog Park Ever!
Godown ParkThis may be my #1 favorite dog park. We’ve taken our dog on several cross country moves and have visited many parks. This park is large, shaded, has some little hills and wooded sections. He loved it! I will make a point of stopping at this park anytime we’re passing through Columbus.
Not the tour we were expecting
Newport's History of Cocktailswhile it’s great our dog was able to join us, this tour is not about history or cocktails. in fact, zero cocktails were involved and the history only pertained to Free Masonry lore. But if the masons are of interest to you, this is the perfect tour.
Enjoyable Dog Park
Portsmouth Dog Parkif you’re staying in Newport-this park is a 20mn drive but it’s worth it to let your pup run around and play. part of the park is dirt but there are trees, lots of seating and grass. Also, a spray/hose to rinse your dogs paws if need be.
Call to get updated info
Lucky Dog Resort Inc.this business has changed their policies but their website is not reflective of this. I’d suggest calling and discussing exactly what you’re needing to see if they can accommodate. they only provide daycare to members, not tourists. they have strict policies regarding boarding, drop off/pick up times and holiday fees.
