Good location near I-80 and pretty thick walls

The hotel is old but the bathrooms have been updated (beds not so much). The best things were that we were not stuck in an old smoking room like many older hotels that allow pets and the walls were pretty thick. Our dog barks at noises and outside of people talking in the hallway, we could keep her quiet and restful with just the noise of the A/C. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean and Convenient

TownePlace Suites by Marriott Des Moines West/Jordan Creek

We don't often travel with cats but did so twice this summer with an overnight stop here. Staff was friendly, hotel was clean, masks were worn and there was no fuss with two cats. Convenient to highway, shops and restaurants. Easy area to walk a dog as well. Would definitely stay here again with furry friends.
