Sweet, sweet property!

Patty at the front desk was amazing. She offered me a bottle of water when she learned I'd been traveling by car all day. And she offered me ground floor without me asking, because I walk on a crutch. Absolutely phenomenal customer service.

dirty, Dirty, DIRTY!

Econo Lodge Carlisle

35 years in hotel management, going into properties that need to be turned around and making them successful. This place is in DESPERATE need of my services!!! The room was dirty beyond belief (OK, the bathroom, surprisingly, was clean). The corridor leading to the stairwell from the parking lot looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. The door to that corridor was broken. The bathroom fan sounded like it was ready to fall out of the ceiling at a moment's notice. And while the gentleman who checked me in was professional and friendly (and, by far the best part of the entire stay), he doubles as housekeeping (which explains the dirty room AND the cot in the room behind the front desk, where he obviously was sleeping when I arrived. I can't blame him, if they've got him working all those hours!!!)

I wish I could rate this place a zero, it was that nasty ... but the guy who checked me in made it to a 1.
