Excellent Location!
La Quinta by Wyndham New York City Central ParkThis hotel is right across from Central Park. Excellent location for bringing your dogs into the city. It's not that hard to get to either because you don't have to drive through the city much to get to it and there are fair priced parking garages within a few blocks. It's also only a 20 min walk away from Times Square. The hotel itself is a bit small, but they are pet friendly just be prepared to pay a pet fee.
Don't Book
Red Roof Inn & Suites Newark - UniversityHotel smells like cigarette smoke and the facility looks very old. The rooms felt dirty and the sheets and carpets had stains. The lighting in the room was also very poor and the balcony looked trashed. They said it was pet friendly but the other residents were rude to me for having my dogs and there wasn't anywhere good to walk them. Would not recommend booking. Only thing good was it actually had availability and was close to I-95 if you're in a pinch like I was.
Good
La Quinta by Wyndham Oklahoma City AirportNo issues here. They didn't have a pet friendly room, I just got a normal one on the second floor. No real pet accomodations but everyone was friendly with my dog and there's space to walk outside.
Love!
Best Western Plus Raton HotelThey gave my dog a bone when I checked in! Pet friendly room was all tile floors so no worries if your dog has an accident. They gave me a first floor where I could park my car right outside the door so it was very easy.
Not Impressed
Comfort Inn & Suites AirportA lot of the employees seemed afraid or put off that I had my dog with me. One housekeeper wouldn't even help me because he didn't want to get close to my dog. At breakfast I was told I had to sit in a corner away from everyone else because my dog was with me. It felt unnecessarily hostile. Their pet friendly room is one of the worst rooms in the building. Wouldn't book again. My dog didn't even do anything obnoxious the whole time we were here to warrant this!
