Casual Mexican restaurant which is excellent for dogs
MichoacanaLovely enclosed back yard with plenty of shade. Small but nice menu with excellent food at great value. They welcome dogs and bring them a water bowl.
Good patio dinning
Octapas CafeWe visit on a Saturday night at 7pm with our dog - we had booked ahead. Food and cocktails were good and reasonal value for tapas. Patio was lovely. We would say they are dog tolerant, rather than friendly, they didn't bring him water for example, and I suspect if we hadn't booked ahead (and said in the booking we had a dog) they might not have let us in with him.
Great Mexican on the water
El Puerto de AngelesWe visited Labor Day Sunday lunchtime and easily got a table outside on their deck over the water. It seemed very busy inside, but plenty of space outside. Food was good with a pretty typical Mexican food selection. Service was also good. Great lunch spot for groups with dogs plus a fabulous view.
Great stop on our roadtrip
Skyline Park Dog ParkWe stopped here for some exercise on our roadtrip across Montana (just a couple of minutes off the I90). It was a snowy morning in March so difficult to tell the full range of facilities, but our dogs loved the fully fenced dog run. Great stop for anyone travelling through.
Great shirt stop next to the I90
Greycliff Prairie Dog Town State ParkThis state park is just a couple of minutes off the I90 and a 'must do' break to stretch your legs. It was closed when we were there, but you could park next to the entrance and walk in. The prairie dogs are EVERYWHERE chirping away and our dogs were fascinated watching them. You can walk round in just a few minutes but there are picnic tables if you want to stop for lunch. It looked like in the 'on season' you would need to pay to enter, but in early March the pay machine was covered up and no one was around.
