Truly Pet Friendly
Van Der Valk Hotel Rotterdam - BlijdorpOur dog was very welcome in the restaurant, and we were given a normal room (sometimes pet friendly is a lesser room). Friendly staff, quality room, and an overall good value.
Fantastic B&B, with dogs on site
Casa Rural los DanzantesAne, Glynn, and their beautiful labs Monte and Millie were terrific hosts. Their dogs played with ours for quite awhile, which our guy needed after a long time traveling without playmates. The home, the hospitality, and the meals were all fantastic - what you'd hope for in a true B&B. If you're looking for a relaxing place in an authentic, non-touristy town, this is the spot.
Pet friendly and nearby park
The Marmara AntalyaJust spent a couple of nights here. The hotel is very pet friendly, and no charge. While dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, the hotel is fairly empty and said it was no problem.
Outside, past the pool is a green space where there are several local, friendly street dogs as well as guests with their dogs. The views are spectacular. Be aware, there are also lots of cats near the pool - they are good at evasion and tree climbing.
Great location - centrally located.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It's an older hotel, but a very good value. A modern 4-star would cost more.
New Year's Getaway
Villa Tamara HotelWith the pandemic and curfews, things are pretty quiet around Turkey. We've been traveling here for several weeks, and finding pet-friendly places is not easy.
Villa Tamara is definitely pet-friendly. They have lots of cats that hang around the property (typical), and a mix breed dog named Collie. The staff is very friendly, and enjoys playing with our Puggle, Mr Cool. My only fear is he will gain a lot of weight here, as the staff keep giving him treats.
The hotel itself is beautiful - the views are exceptional, the rooms are large, and the bed is comfy.
Because of shutdowns, we're eating our meals in the restaurant - yummy breakfasts (included), and the chef offers a great selection of options for other meals.
