Outstanding! Clean! Friendly!

I can not say enough about how good the food was, how friendly all the staff is, and how clean and well kept the property is. There are plenty of dog refuse/baggie stations on the property and a large grassy area if your dog needs to chase a ball. We stayed on the first floor and had complimentary soup, appetizers, beer/wine while we watched the AFC football playoffs with the owner of this Hampton Inn. The breakfast was delicious and always stocked. Great southern hospitality and this one we will keep on our “definitely return” list.

Nice hotel & Clean

Holiday Inn Guin an IHG Hotel

We found this Holiday Inn on this app and we’re hesitant because that is literally all that is at this stop in the middle of no where: a gas station, a Holiday Inn, and a restaurant inside the Holiday Inn called Grille 22. Super glad we took the chance and we would definitely stay here again. Rooms were spacious, nicely decorated and we ate dinner there (Beef Dip Sandwich and Shrimp Scampi Penne Pasta). Grille 22 is open until 8-9pm nightly and has a bar. Breakfast (order off the menu $10-14) was included in the price of our hotel room rate ($99/night Tuesday night Dec 21). We asked the waitress how old the hotel was since it looked new, and she said 7 years old. Lobby was decorated with several Christmas trees and modern furniture. Has an outdoor pool (we did not use). Safe to walk your dog on sidewalks through the development but no designated pet areas or refuse bags, so bring your own with you on your walks. Suited our needs well!

Great stay, clean, and safe

Hampton Inn & Suites Kokomo

We did not plan on stopping in Kokomo IN but could not drive anymore. The website said no pets but we called the Hampton Inn & Suites directly and we’re able to book a room and bring our 70lb dog. They were pretty full and had a Two Queen Bed Suite with a full kitchen, seating, kitchen table for four, and then a separate bedroom with a desk, and two bedrooms. Nicely decorated, clean, and booked with dog for $202/night Tuesday in August 2021. We were on the second floor on the very end so quiet, and had access to the stairs to take the dog outside before we went to bed without having to go through the lobby. The desk clerk was friendly and gave us a print out list of restaurants and pizza that delivered with the hours, phone number, and website. We would definitely stay again!

Would not stay!

Motel 6 Kokomo In

We stopped in the parking lot to see if they had vacancy and there was a guy who had opened his window, no screen, hanging out the window. A group in the back parking lot drinking beer and smoking marijuana, and a transient person walking around. We let the dog do its business and went around the block to the Hampton Inn & Suites and paid twice as much, but were very happy to leave Motel 6.

Rundown & Not safe parking

Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tifton

I booked online and checked in, looked at the room, which was adequate but there were transients hanging in the lot drinking by the edge of the property near the wooded overgrown area. Numerous non hotel traffic/loitering in the lot, hotel located super close to interstate bridge, and overgrown with trees. Window frame of our room, on first floor, was broken. We immediately got in our truck and left for a different hotel. Did not feel safe leaving our vehicle in the lot let alone walking my dog.

Super clean! Updated! Hilton Amenities

Tru by Hilton Murfreesboro

Very nicely decorated, clean, sanitized stickers, and freshly updated with a modern flare. Dog friendly yet the dog “service” area (poo bags) is in the back lot in the rear of the property. I would stay here again!! Lots of amenities such as free 25/7 coffee, fruit, and a market to purchase anything you need even beer and wine. outdoor firepit going with lots of games such as a pool table, giant Jenga (outside), foosball table, large TVs in the lobby, complimentary water bottles in the room, etc. It would be a perfect 5 bones if they had more baggie stations on the property and I agree with the other reviewer about early morning noise concerns. We stayed on the first floor and because there is no carpet anywhere, next to the stairwell, kitchen, and side entrance door, you do hear doors slam constantly early in the morning (6am-6:30am). I’m glad though I did more research on Tru Hilton Hotel because of the 1 bone review I almost missed a wonderful hotel close to food, mall, pharmacy, easy to find, CLEAN, and comfortable for table beds. Will stay here on our way back but ask for a top floor room.
