Yearly Favorite!

For the past few years, my dog and I have made a mid-Sept. trip to Franconia Notch and we LOVE staying at Pemi Cabins! They're convenient to many area hikes (including Franconia Ridge, the Basin and the Flume Gorge).

These cabins are great for dogs! The rushing water from the brook really drowns out outside noise, so my dog has never been bothered by road noise or the noise of neighbors (nor have I for that matter). It's also a place that allows you to leave your well-behaved dog in the cabin (new owners 2023, so check to make sure this is still true). This is great if you want to go out for some in-door dining or visit the Flume, which does not allow dogs.

The cabins... just the right size! I've stayed in Cabin 10 several times and Cabin 11 once, both are great! All have been fairly recently remodeled and are very cozy. Bathrooms have always been very clean and the mini-fridge (with freezer!) and microwave are really helpful to have. The fireplace is probably the best part for us--great ambiance and they work well (no smoke-filled cabin). We always look forward to a stay at Pemi!
