Cute shop
Percy PawsVisited with our pup while browsing settler’s green. We were offered several treats for our pup and she was very tolerant of him “exploring” the shop (it was his first time in a store).
Great Beach
Fort Foster ParkThe pier boards have large gaps in them, our small dogs feet kept getting stuck in between. Other than that it was fanatic. Dogs are required to be on leash (we ran into two groups who did not follow this). One side of the beach is dog friendly and the other is not. We went in Mid-May on a Saturday afternoon and found ample space to walk, run and swim with our pup. The entry fee was $21, no cash.
He loved it!
Jackson FallsOur pup loved climbing all over the rocks& in the water!
There is no trash cans to dispose of dog poop so just be prepared for that.
Very dog friendly!
Residence Inn by Marriott North ConwayWe stayed in a king suite, the room was large & clean. I think my favorite part was the full size fridge. There was definitely room for a crate if needed. The staff was incredibly friendly. There is a pet friendly bakery next door that offers a discount if you show your room key and there is a cute little pet store in Settler’s green close by as well. A lot of the stores in settlers green are pet friendly, the list can be found online. The location was great for our quick weekend away. From what I gathered they typically put dogs in rooms on the first and second floor unless they are full - this was great for needing to go outside for potty breaks. It think it said online there was a designated potty area- this wasn’t clearly marked but there was a nice secluded area on the side of the pool house. I did see a few people who didn’t pick up their dogs poop in various places on the property, there were ample trash cans outside to dispose of ours. Some downsides - the hotel was loud- mostly from people, but also our room (216) was directly in front of the fan units and next to the linen room at 4pm when we checked in the bed was shaking from what I assume was washing machines running. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if back in the area.
