I have 2 dogs who keep me company as I drive across the country every summer from Los Angeles to Vermont so I've seen a lot of dog parks and styled in a lot of pet friendly motels.
I also coordinate for now the FB page of the Bluff Creek Trail Association. It is for people who walk their dogs off leash on the Bluff Creek Trail in Los Angeles. Sadly the trail is officially on leash although people have been using it off leash for decades. There is no off leash trail in the whole of west Los Angeles. Some of The canyons in other areas do LA are off leash

BETTER THAN NOTHING
Sandy Aragon Softball ComplexFence has been repaired so totally secure. Only one gate. No “airlock” plenty of poop bags. Needs mowing and there are soft pricker weeds. No shade, but benches and a picnic table. Not real big, but enough. Very hard to find. Enter park. Go to end and turn left at Television Rd. Then left onto a dirt road. There’s a blue porta potty right at the dog park.

Henrietta Dog Park at Lookup ParkLovely and clean park. Good size, but if you're on the road and want to let your dogs get out of the car and run, this park won't serve as it is limited to residents of Henrietta, NY who have registered and paid. Most of the parks I visit as I drive across the country with my dogs are NOT set up this way, thankfully. One, in Sandusky, OH used to be but they decided to make it free and open which I applaud.
