Glowing reviews 100% accurate!
Holiday Inn Express Lewisburg/New Columbia an IHG HotelWe all loved it, both humans and canniness, alike. Nearby to familiar places to eat and shop, by car. Very clean rooms. Comfy beds. Good breakfast spread. Nice people. A working gym and pool. Quiet halls and a lovely and large property for exercising the dogs, reasonably far from traffic noise. We’ll come back if they can maintain this level of hospitality and quality.

Great location, super room
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Toledo South OHAdmittedly, because there were so much construction going on inside the property, we were able to afford upgrading to a suite with two queen beds and a whole other room to play with our pup in. There’s plenty of outside area for walking the dog and the staff were generally helpful.

Not your typical interstate hotel: A cut above
Best Western DuBois HotelWe only came because: the location was about right for our 2-day car journey, the per-dog price was reasonable, and, of course: the reviews were really promising. When we arrived, we had second thoughts based on the layout of the property and its proximity to light industry. Aside from windows in the portico that really needed a good wipe down, we were greeted by just the loveliest clerk ever. Ezra was upbeat, accommodating and informative about the property and the area. We were given a great recommendation for dinner nearby (it's a cute downtown, a short drive away). The first room we were given had a faint smell of cig smoke, and pulling down the comforter revealed many short hairs (that we assumed were animal hairs). The phone in that room was disconnected so I called Ezra from my cell to report my findings and he did not delay for a moment's time before coming over with keys to a new room. The second room was absent any problems at all. The beds were very comfortable, the walls seemed thick (this is not your typical pop-up construction, as seen in most major chains by the road). We slept better than usual and the shower was just right. Breakfast was fine. Nothing to write home about, but it sure seemed more homemade than the mass-produced stuff at every Hampton Inn. The outside surround was well landscaped and fun for the dog on a walk. Five minutes by car from the expressway made for a night's sleep with no road noise. We were more satisfied than usual, and we'll be back.

Lively atmosphere dogs will love
Aloft Columbia DowntownFirst the PROS: excellent and responsive staff. Lively evening scene (but wholesome) in the lobby area. Attentive and helpful valet. Quiet city neighborhood. And in the morning: A truly great kitchen for your carry-away breakfasts (or grab and eat lobby-side or in one of 2 beautiful semi-outdoor areas), which are made-to-order.
CONS: the entire floor where our room was located smelled terrible. Really, gross, actually, but not the room. The room (chic room design!) had a very noisy lav barn door but heavy and loud enough to wake up everyone sleeping). It also looked MOSTLY cleaned, but maybe not religiously. Finally, there was a noise problem due to extraordinarily thin walls (and floors, and ceilings) to the point where we could hear quiet conversations taking place in the bathrooms of nearby guests. I'd come again, but I'd come prepared for the smells and the sounds.

well-located, suite accommodations
Embassy Suites by Hilton Nashville SE Murfreesborowe loved the layout of the room into living room and sleeping quarters. The desk staff were incredibly helpful and the room was clean. The property has a very open, atrium feeling with glass elevators going up 10 floors with a view of the garden dining area and bar below.
