Disappointment to say the least, dump

Somehow the reservation was an incorrect date. But they quickly found another room, ground level with a King bed. They said we would have to say in the room and could not leave her crated as we had read on your site. I was not happy getting misinformation according to them. This place was really a dump with 25 cars. I hardly think others would have been disturbed. The room needed updating, the facility was not kept up very well and the prices were in line with many places advertising "small dogs". Looks like there were not more than 25 cars staying at the Q Inn. There were 9 other choices but most allowed only small dogs. Ours was 30 lbs and the Laquinta was the only place that also allowed larger dogs and specified size/with the weight. When the hotel says small it would be good to know what small is considered, like 0 to 15, or would 15 to 30 work. To find out, I would have had to call all of the other places to find out. We left in 2 days instead of the 3 we had planned. I would make sure this motel gives a description of what to expect.
