Decent for the price
Red Roof Inn & Suites BiloxiClean, easy to get to off I-10. Decent stay for a budget price and no pet fee. There was a complimentary continental breakfast but not much too it. Some mini muffins a d mini doughnuts, coffee, juice. And a Belgian waffle maker, but nothing to go on them - no butter, no syrup. So I didn’t want to eat a dry waffle.
Great location, clean
Cedar InnWalking distance to many areas, clean room, no carpets, dog friendly. Only downside was doors don’t have a good seal so when people smoke in the hall you smell it in your room.
Clean but that’s the most positive
Days Inn by Wyndham St Augustine/Historic DowntownIt was clean. So 2 bones for that. I booked a King, they gave me 2 Queens and said they didn’t have pet friendly Kings and wouldn’t refund the difference I paid for that upgrade because “our rooms normally run $99/night”. For $99/night I wouldn’t be at a Days Inn! No one pays the front desk rate in the age of internet travel sites. The grass was well lit but no doggie bags/waste bin. The a/c was awful. Had it on 66° and high. It ran 24/7 and never shut off because it never achieved that. But the temp felt like my house does at 77°. It was super loud, the sound of the fan & trickling water kept me up the first night so I bought ear plugs. It was walking distance to the historic area so no paying for parking or finding it in that area, I just walked. Don’t book a King, you’ll pay extra for nothing and they don’t care!
Good for the price
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Savannah MidtownThe room did smell faintly of pee but I had Lysol and air freshener so it wasn’t overpowering. Some stains in the carpet but it’s a cheap hotel that allows pets. Overall clean room, no bugs, free breakfast. It was a 1 night stay, I wasn’t looking to spend a lot for something fancy.
