Goes Beyond the Doggy Friendly Basics
Brickhaus CoffeeI'm reviewing Brickhaus through the lens of a dog owner - they're very dog friendly. They have dog water bowls outside & raised beds for your dog to rest on while you enjoy your drink. The staff was totally fine with my puppy coming into the store to order, gave her some pets, and offered her a Puppicino. She loved it. I always think that businesses that treat your pets like family are going places :) I also appreciated all the geek culture items in the shop, including my drink was the Hufflepuff (a Harry Potter series House name).
Great Covered Outdoor Restaurant w/ a Park within 1 Block for an Easy Potty Break
Fat Milo's Family KitchenLunch Review: We arrived at 2:15PM & they close at 3PM, but we were never made to feel like we were rushed. Their lunch service options were great, the food was tasty, and the outdoor covered seating was great on a hot day as there was plenty of shade. I again brought my puppy with us, and she had a great lunch. I appreciated that the staff treated her like a guest as well. It was a lovely touch.
Original Breakfast Review: I'm reviewing this restaurant through the "lens" of a dog owner. I brought my 4 month old puppy to the restaurant during COVID. Out front there's only 2 covered benches with an umbrella, but out back there's an entire enclosed back patio area w/ plenty of those propane torches to keep the place warm on a cooler day. They have dog water bowls & they have some scrambled eggs available if you want to treat your dog. There's a convenient memorial park across the street w/ trash cans for easy cleanup and disposal for your dog. My puppy had a lot of fun, and I wanted to find a restaurant that was dog friendly & they certainly are. I wasn't uncomfortable sitting outside even though it was a rainy and cooler day. The food was delicious too. We'll be back! :)
