From Texas where I live with my 6 month old lab mix, Birdie. Always looking for good places that are dog friendly so I can take Birdie with me wherever I go!

Good park
Maxwell Dog ParkMaxwell is divided into 3 sections. one for large dogs, small dogs, and another “exercise” area to play fetch. each park has its own water fountain and 1 to 2 trash cans at the entrance. large and medium area have 2 park benches. large and small area have big umbrellas for shade. the park is relatively small but does the job to let dogs run and play.
Dog friendly trail
Constitution Trailthis trail runs through the town. there’s lots of places to get on and off the trail. the trail is flat and paved and covered by trees. a few water stations and trash cans along parts of the trail. rules state dogs must remain leashed. you’ll find a lot of people, dogs, bikes, and squirrels along the trail.
Great little trail
White Oak Parkthis is a paved path around the lake that’s a little over a mile per lap. no water stations so bring your own water. lots of trash cans to throw away dog poo. pretty view, lots of geese, and an easy walk!
