Super Stay in a Super Hotel!
Sheraton Bloomington HotelLots of amenities, extremely professional staff. Of course the restaurant was appropriately overpriced ($80 for two gourmet salads and two glasses of house wines), but the little things (such as a door hanger that said “my pet is in here”) made us glad we stayed.
Puppy loved, hotel bleh!
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Santa FeThe staff was great at taking care of our needs with regard to our greyhound. I like that while we were at the opera we were allowed to leave him in the room (he loves his crate so he’s good on his own in there). There is no grass in the dog relieving areas (it’s Santa Fe, after all), so my pup got used to it after looking at me a few times, seemingly asking, “is it ok for me to poop here?” The hotel for humans is only average at best. I wish they would do more regular maintenance (just a few items on the room’s checklist), and encourage smokers to respect non smokers by not being right by nonsmoking rooms and smoke coming in through HVAC. An ok stay!
