One of the few dog friendly bars in town.

Bierkeller Tavern & Eatery

We've been to the Bierkeller a lot, but this is the first time with our dog Robin. We were over at Heritage Park with him and the kids and decided to stop for dinner.

The patio is great, they've got standard picnic tables but also some nice patio style couches and chairs. There were two 4 legged customers there and they had water dishes for each.

They have a great beer menu and a nice German inspired menu. We primarily did appetizers and Robin loved the bacon wrapped kielbasa. They had 3 waitresses covering the patio so the service was great and Robin had a great time.

Great food, nice patio, huge local beer selection

The Duck Pond Eatery & Beer Garden

Stopped here after the Pictured Rocks cruise, everyone was swarming the restaurants downtown, so we figured the drive would be good.

The food was great I had the whitefish tacos, my wife the fish and chips. They have a standard kids menu. They let us in the side gate to the nice large patio, no dog bowls so I grabbed the mr from the truck, we had to ask for water to fill it.

They accepted our dog, but didn’t have dog amenities.
