Sandy Beach
Point Beach State ForestThis is my favorite dog beach on Lake Michigan and in Wisconsin. Nice sandy beach, some rocks for the rock hounds. My dog loved it. Camping is available within a short walk from the pet beach.

Not worth the hike
Harrington Beach State ParkThe dog beach, aka South beach, is one mile from the nearest parking lot, two miles round trip, and the beach was mostly rocks. I like to swim with my dog and enjoy a sandy beach. This wasn’t worth the long hike carrying beach gear.
