Very dog-friendly hotel
Le Merigot Santa MonicaThe rooms and beds need updating and some sound-proofing; however, the staff here was FANTASTIC. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. There's also a small, private dog park next to the hotel, for guests to use.
Come! Stay!
Hacienda de los SantosA hidden gem in one of Mexico’s Puebla Magico Colonial towns, Hacienda was truly one of the most beautiful and warm places we’ve stayed in all of Mexico. Our dog is a smallish, well-behaved Aussie and they allowed him to join us for outside meals. There’s so much to see and do in this lovely town. We will be back again, I am certain.
Beautiful
The Westin La Paloma Resort and SpaGreat staff. Big clean rooms. So many pools and views to choose from. Only wish dogs were allowed in more areas of the resort. Ours stayed in the room and had just short walks around the grass near our room. But otherwise we were all very comfortable here.
Dated but charming
Hotel Suites KinoThis creaky elder gentleman of a hotel needs updating and sheets that actually fit the mattress. But it’s very clean and the rooms are large. The neighborhood will seem depressing at first glance, but if you head straight out the door, cross the boulevard and go 3 blocks and make a right you’ll be in one of the most charming town squares we’ve seen. It really comes alive at night with families and vendors and music. Also, the hotel has a security guard 24h in your parking lot. A huge plus if you’re driving.
Nice pool but…
Best Western Date Tree HotelWe needed a place to stop along our road trip. This place was okay for one night. The staff was nice, but there was hair all over the bathroom floor, grimy walls, and the bed sunk so deep it felt like sleeping in a hammock. On the bright side, a decent breakfast, 24 hr pool, and a shady grassy area for the dog to play.
