Perfect Spot to Hang With Our Pups!
Railcar PizzaWe drove by this place totally by accident and wanted to check out all these refurbished rail cars that were converted in to a brewing company, a pizza place, a dinosaur museum, mini golf and a diner. We were thinking of just grabbing a pizza a sitting in the back of the car to eat it bc we had the pups until the guys at the pizza place mentioned that there was a deck out back that connected to the brewery if we wanted to sit with the pizza and get a beer. The deck was large and covered (it poured rain for a bit) and overlooked the mini golf course so I could play golf with my son while my husband and pups watched from the deck. Everyone was so friendly and there were dog bowls all around so the pups could have a quick drink while we ate. Definitely a nice find in DuBois, PA!

Convenient Stop
Countryside Inn MotelThis motel is nothing fancy but the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and the towels were fresh and newly washed. The decor is fairly dated but after being on a long camping trip that was not a concern. Our 2 big dogs (both labs) had ample room to stretch out on the floor in the room after having to sleep in a big crate while we have been camping. The couple that run the motel were very nice and helped us with a late night check-in in the rain. they offer some simple pre-packed pastries and coffee in the AM. They only lost a bone in my rating because you can tell that they haven’t yet figured out how to keep the smell from the smoking rooms from permeating in to the non smoking rooms. They didn’t smell smoky but they had that stale smell that is associated with a room that might have been converted from a smoking room and still has not lost the smell after many washes.

Right off the highway!
Woodland Dog ParkPerfect spot right off the highway for the dogs to get out and stretch their legs. (We are on a LONG road trip.) The park was huge with obstacles and many other dogs to run around with.
