Beautiful grounds
Souther Williams VineyardGorgeous vineyard and everyone was so friendly. We visited on a very hot weekday in August, so our two dogs really appreciated the cool concrete floor under the pavilion. They’ve got a lovely ice water dispenser set up for those of us who do not partake in the wine and just want to admire the surroundings. They also have a dog walk area in the side.
Wide, open space
Blue Ghost Brewing CompanyExtremely friendly place and a huge back lawn area with pavilion and tables. We went around dinner time on a weekday. There was one other dog there, but plenty of humans. Atmosphere was chill, but according to their posted adverts, they’ve got plenty of upcoming, family and dog friendly events. My husband liked their porter beer.
Tasty
Burgers & BakeryCozy hidden gem with tasty burgers and fries. Shaded patio helped with the heat of August. A huge fan on the patio would’ve been a great help, especially with the dogs. Added bonus: The Hidden Bean Coffee & Tea Room is located across the patio and down the stairs. We will plan to revisit in cooler weather, for sure!
Just okay
Morris Broadband Dog ParkI’d love to give this dog park five stars except that there was no fresh water source and not enough shade. on a positive note, it was very clean and the agility equipment was appreciated.
Very Friendly
Two Trees Distilling CompanyWe brought our dogs in with us. everyone was so friendly. Terry was the perfect host. I’d definitely go back. I recommend the Peanut Butter Whiskey and the Carolina Peach!
