Quick Stop
Maverick MotelThis location is ok for a very quick stop. It is a busy motel that was sold out the night we stayed. Old motel, but clean and comfortable. Room keys were not available until 4 due to under staffed housekeeping. Very little to do in a town that is mostly shuttered. The pizza restaurant across the street is dog friendly. The brewery next door is not. The park down the street is a good spot to walk however there are no poop bag stations and quite a bit of leftover poop all around. The economy and probably Covid have turned what probably was a beautiful town into pretty much a ghost town. This is definitely a travel stop vs a travel destination.

Dog friendly
Rodeos PizzaThis was the only dog friendly location in town that was open for dinner. The patio was open and could easily contain more than one dog. They provided fresh water at the patio entrance.
