Folsom Lake State Recreation AreaDogs aren’t allowed on the main beach but there’s many other places you can find that don’t have rules against dogs!

Our Regular Spot
FIDO Field Dog ParkWe come here all the time. Mostly people will be attentive to their dogs and are friendly but occasionally there will be someone not picking up after their pet. Small dogs and big dogs are split up in different areas. It opens at 7:30am and closes an hour after sunset. They’re closed every Wednesday for maintenance. The only reason I give it 4/5 is because there is a lot of dirt and the dogs can get muddy if it’s been wet recently, other than that a great park.
