Underwelmed
TRYP by Wyndham Tallahassee North I-10 Capital CircleWe were very much looking forward to our stay and being able to enjoy an alcoholic beverage and sandwich at the bar inside the hotel as was advertised. That area wasn't even open, nor did the hotel serve a hot breakfast in the morning. Staffing shortage was the explanation and to be fair it was New Year's Eve, but we were disappointed. For dog owners this place only charged $25 per dog a night, and did have room to roam. It is located in a quieter area and the bed was comfortable. No pet station.
Noisy night
Staybridge Suites Tallahassee an IHG HotelPros: expansive grounds for pooch to roam, complimentary food and wine/beer Mon-weds. Pet friendly staff, large room. Cons: b/c no carpeting, noises echo. Doors to rooms need a strong tug then make big noise when closing. Guests were coming and going until after 1am. All the noise spooked out pup and growling went on for hours. If your pup is laid back and can go with the flow, this place is golden.
Nice experience
Hyatt Place Nashville/Franklin/Cool SpringsThis place is close to I-65 but kind of secluded so you don't hear highway noise. There is room to roam. Poopy bag area and large rooms to spread out. So many restaurants close by. Staff was very dog friendly.
