Solid choice and great staff
Red Roof Inn Ft PierceNot fancy but very clean and accommodating of pets.
Basic accommodations
Red Roof Inn Defuniak SpringsThis is a typical motor hotel right off the freeway. No frills but clean rooms and decent beds.
Needs a lot of TLC
Vagabond Inn Executive - Green ValleyHotel was one of the worst I have ever stayed. I had to take a towel and wash off all the surfaces. It was clearly not touched. (Food crumbs and sticky rings from cups or glasses). Stains everywhere on the walls, floors and bedding. Patches on the wall where holes were and where a mirror actually was taken off the wall. It was too late for us to leave and there were no alternatives in the area for a large dog. One positive is that the beds and pillows were okay. It is way too cheap, but still not worth the price. I would have gladly paid more. Needs TLC.
The best pet-friendly experience ever!
Best Western Plus Fort Stockton HotelWe travel all the time with our Labrador. This hotel was far and above the best experience we have ever had. They really go out of their way to be pet friendly. From the doggie treat bags upon check-in (along with a human treat bag) to the street signs “Goldendoodle Drive and Cocker Lane” in the hallway as well as the artwork in the rooms featuring dogs and cats, it was amazing. And then there is the human friendly touches, light dinner and nachos served in the evening a decent bar selection and a great hot breakfast. The rooms were spotless and the beds and pillows were top notch. It is too bad we don’t find ourselves in Fort Stockton TX very often. It would almost be worth making it a destination. Well done Best Western Plus!!
Thumbs up
Red Roof Inn & Suites CalhounHaving never stayed at a Red roof Inn, we were pleasantly surprised. Room was good for the price. Nice to have a 1st floor room and a door direct to the outside. There was a nice grassy area behind the building. Would stay there again.
Yuck
Super 8 by Wyndham Mt Vernon ILRoom was smelly and really needed a face lift. Windows were so clouded you could not see outside. I can’t even say that it was a bargain at over $100 per night. Super 8 not so super.
