Red Roof Inn PLUS+ & Suites Houston - IAH Airport SWThere were signs that this place had some refurbishment and had many dogs in the rooms, but there is much work to be done. There were no tissues, no clothes hangers, no drinking cups, a coffee maker, but no cups, beat up furnishings and fridge that needed defrosting, an uncontrollable A/C unit, and a non-functional electrical receptacle in the bathroom. The location is noisy, being just off of a busy freeway and near an international airport. The guests were also noisy in the rooms and hallways into very late at night and there was no attempt by the manager to ask the tenants to keep the noise down. I chose this location to be near a cemetery for an early morning funeral, but got very little sleep due to the noise and hard lumpy pillows. The bed sheets were clean, but the thin blanket was not. Not the worst, bit nowhere near the best.

Ok, Not Special
SummerPlace InnExcessive pet fee plus substantial deposit. Very limited pet potty area and no potty bags, which even the much lesser expensive lodgings provide. Room carpet did not appear to be very clean and none of our devices would connect to the WiFi system.
