Noisy but dog friendly
Econo Lodge Hot SpringsThe motel had several guests from construction crews staying there so when alarms started going off early or doors opening/closing, our two dogs also started alarming us to "potential danger". Room was clean, comfortable & dog friendly but it would have been far better if the construction crews were kept to specific areas away from pet friendly rooms. Also, there wasn't a specific doodle area with baggies or trash cans and it didn't look like owners or maintenance picked up - there was everything from small doodles to land mines surrounding the motel.
Dog area & dog friendly staff
Best Western Yellowstone CrossingWe arrived early evening after a long drive and the gal at the front desk was very pleasant and made sure we had a room away from as much noise as possible. She also directed us to their dog specific area complete with convenient doggy doodle bags & a trash can. The area wasn't doodle free but pretty close so assume they also clean the area after dog owners who don't clean up. When we went out for an evening walk she came out from behind the desk and greeted our two small dogs & loved on them. Was nice to be treated in such a friendly & welcoming way.
