Great overnight stay
Residence Inn Akron South/GreenWe have stayed here twice now. Staff is very nice and oohed over our dog. Our dog was welcome in the lobby. They do charge a pet fee. Very convenient to the highway, gas and restaurants. Very quiet. I’m only giving it 4 bones instead of 5 because it lacks a restaurant on site. The free breakfast is very welcome. A great place for a break on a cross country trip.
Very basic accommodations
Sonesta Simply Suites Columbus Airport GahannaThis hotel is well located near major highways and the staff is very friendly. The room is large. Carpets and furniture were very worn. The coffee maker was broken (they brought us another). The toilet stopped up — they gave us a plunger. There are no breakfast facilities. Coffee is available in a room accessible with your hotel key. Twice it was locked because the staff were out. Only 1 mediocre restaurant close by, but there are more choices within a short drive. For such basic accommodations it seems odd to charge a $75 pet fee. There are better choices in the Columbus area.
Great hotel!
Sheraton Albuquerque Airport HotelGreat hotel! There is a pet friendly hotel and places to walk your pet. Great human accommodations. Dogs allowed throughout the hotel. Only reason I’m not giving it 5 bones is that the WIFI SUCKS. Could barely connect and it kept cutting out. We would stay again. Very close to airport if you’re flying.
Good basic accommodations
Best Western Plus a Wayfarer's Inn and SuitesThis hotel is very basic and also clean. The staff is very nice. Pets are not allowed in the lobby, which makes getting food and coffee difficult. Our dog is fine with outside stairs but other puppers may have a problem.
