GREAT SPOT: A little hard to find, it’s the Oread Hotel
Bird Dog BarStopped off while road tripping home because wife went to KU, and it’s been years since we returned. Great place in the lobby of the Oread Hotel. They let us sit inside because it was super windy out! That alone deserves 5 🦴’s! The food is good, lots of options. Huge beer list of taps and bottles.
Great location on 1-70 for a stopover
Avid Hotels Hays an IHG HotelDespite rooms being a bit small, they are very well laid out. Super friendly staff. Very clean. Bedding is quite comfy. Solid quick breakfast options. For a road trip spot, truly exceptional. We will return.

Open RangeLocal bar with big burger menu plus salads, wraps and more. Outstanding fries! Full bar. Very friendly service. So, you order at the counter and they bring it to you. No big whoop. Very dog friendly. Big outside patio. Our pooch loved her burger and veggies!
Fantastic hotel!
Staybridge Suites Cheyenne an IHG HotelLike others who have reviewed the Staybridge in Cheyenne, we were greeted by two very friendly front desk staff members and an upgrade! This hotel is solid. Our room (suite) was huge and super quiet despite being across the hall from the elevator. Clean and comfortable. No brainer good option if passing through.
Good Road Trip Stop
