Super helpful staff
Hampton Inn St Augustine BeachTwo minutes from the beach, the ground floor room was spacious, comfortable, and even featured a patio with a sliding glass door. We enjoyed listening to the sound of the ocean. No microwave, but somebody probably would have brought me one if I'd asked! Hot breakfast.

3rd floor room! Yikes
Hampton Inn Rocky MountWhen I checked in to my prepaid room, I was told dogs must go on the third floor. So, either my retired greyhounds could go up three flights of fire stairs (painted concrete, not happening) or they could take the elevator. They'd never been in an elevator and by their fourth visit (down for morning walk) the elevator had made it to the top of their "Things we don't like" list. They tried backing out as I pressed the button. After our walk, I put them in the car and prepared to leave. For those with small dogs, or ones who love to try new things, I want to say the room was clean and comfortable (but carpeted, FYI).

Holiday Inn Express Voorhees - Mt Laurel an IHG HotelGround floor room convenient to back door and plenty of grassy areas to walk. Renovated room with enough space for 2 large dogs and me, comfy bed and lounge chair, easy access to 295, clean, friendly, safe. 👍

Very friendly staff
Best Western LumbertonA green oasis of dog-walking grass surrounded by: Walmart, Lowe's, Chic Fila, Panera Bread, Starbucks, etc. Had a little problem with the door not closing properly, but fixed it myself pretty quickly. Nice breakfast. Spacious room. A little noisy from all the surrounding traffic, but dogs settled all right.

Perfect for our needs
Quality Inn Christiansburg - BlacksburgClean rooms, comfy bed, lots of grass to walk dogs, convenient to Blacksburg Super Regional Softball Tournament and Roanoke, a favorite city of ours. Dogs were safe in the room (brought a crate) and a great dinner across the street.
