Easy to find and so much space to run!

This is a huge dog park, all in one big grassy field for pups to run around on. It's a great pit stop, about 5-10 miles west of 94 for long haul road trippers. My pup LOVES her time there!

    Gone Downhill Over The Years

This is my home dog park. I’ve been coming here since they opened.
The park itself is great. It’s nice to have a place that isn’t split into large and small pups as some times they like to play together. The 2 other area parks are divided, so if you’re looking for that, the option is nearby. The park does get very muddy. Not horrible if you have boots and plenty of towels.
What is an issue, is not knowing what of that mud is really mud. The pet-etiquette has gotten horrible over the years. Some folks just don’t pick up. They are immersed in conversation and aren’t watching their dogs, are on the phone, or get this IN THEIR CARS! Last trip I picked up 15, yes 15 poops. It’s averaged about 10 the last several times. It’s just gotten so bad.
Another note is the altercations between dogs has gone up. There’s been a bite requiring stitches with one dog put down, and other activities that are aggressive and tolerated by the owners. Dogs will be dogs? I get your at your own risk, but I wouldn’t just let my kid go beat on your kid. Just break it up if it seems one way. That’s it, just be a considerate owner. A little roughhousing is fine, but read both dog’s body language and step in when appropriate.
Most folks are great, but sometimes a few spoil the bunch. Please all, set a good example and share good etiquette practices.
I’m hoping I get to bump this back to a 5-bone park, where it used to and should be,

    Look at the pictures

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Dogs and people interact and know each other by name. I think it is a nice place. Sometimes people get marked by the mischievous dogs, but everyone seems to have a good time. I have been going there for years and have developed many friendships. There are times I find I have been there two hours and the dusk mosquitoes chase me home. Sometimes the poop is missed but someone seems to pick it up. Sometimes there are dog disagreements but the owners are right there. See the pictures.
The park is about a two acre fenced area with nice shade in the evening. Owners bring their own water as the water and bathroom facilities are a short walk away. 4 trips around the park equal a mile. That is our trail. There is no streams or ponds so we bring our own. We have fun. The puppies antics keep us coming back for more.
