      Beautiful 1.8 Mile Soft Loop Around The Lake

      This is an easy dog-friendly soft dirt trail around the lake with plenty of soft sand beach spots for swimming and relaxing. We were here during a mid-August heat wave and enjoyed the breeze and shaded parts of the path. Our dog Maggie loved being off-leash part of the way. Highly recommend!

      Perfect dog spot

      This is a super dog friendly lake! It's easy to find places to be secluded or with other people and dogs. I read some concern about the carbon dioxide levels and there is evidence of the damage but there were plenty of people and dogs swimming.
