    Best. Dog. Park. Ever.

This place is spacious, neat, and so clean! Most of the people are kind and friendly! Both sides are spacious!

    Temporarily closed

Closed since October 27th. No eta to open. Currently as on today, it is part grass and part turf. Picnic tables are painted and leave sticky and permanent stains on your clothes if you sit on them when it's warm or sunny. There is a water bowl thingy but not spigot. There is a dog wash station. Some shade. Free parking. The park itself is NOT dog friendly so no walking in the park / pathways. Waste of a trip.

    Dog attack

I used to love this park and would take my dog several times a week. One Sunday morning at 7 a.m. my dog was attacked by an American Bulldog, the dog came into the small run and attacked my dog, we hadn't even gotten in to the park. The owner of the dog was nonchalant about his dog attacking my dog, his girlfriend they suggested they leave, the owner said, no no it will be fine and they did not leave. I foolishly went into the park after the 1st attack and the dog once again attacked my dog. Blood everywhere, Thankfully it wasn't as bad as it could have been. My dog was about 65lbs at the time, the other dog was easily 90 or more. The owner never once asked if my dog was ok or apologized. After a vet visit and bill for the puncture in the ear and chest, a round of antibiotics, 6 one on one training sessions $$$ (my dog became dog aggressive towards any dog that resembled American Bulldogs (pits, english and American Bulldogs) I learned my lesson. NEVER again. I don't take my dogs to dog parks anymore. It's sad because I used to love to take my dog but you cannot trust that everyone else is a responsible dog owner.

    Pit Bull Attack

My 4 month old puppy was attacked by 2 pit bulls in the Lilac Dog Park in PBG 5/7. I am in shock that aggressive dogs like these would be in the park. I was told this was a safe environment to socialize a pet. The police officer 'banned' the owner from attending the park (no trespassing warning) for 18 months but what then? The pit bull would not release the puppy for over 15 minutes no matter what tactics were applied. The owner had NO control.

    Dog was attacked there

My Labradoodle was playing well with all the dogs there for about 45 minutes. A couple came in with their dog and when he went off-leash he ran to my dog and held his head in his mouth. All I saw was blood. I was about 6 feet away and ran to get his head out. I rushed him to the vet where they put him to sleep to check his ear because my dog cried when it was touched. He is now on antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication and wearing a cone to keep him from scratching the bite. He goes back to vet in 4 days to see if he will need surgery to his ear. I never got the couples name because I thought my dog lost his eyes due to blood on face. I grabbed him and ran to PGA Vet - who are the best in the world. Stay away from here....

    better than nothing

I gave 2 stars because the grounds are about 1/3rd mud and dirt so dog is filthy every time she comes home. Not well maintained like the puchi pine park in wellington/west palm which is all grass. There they rotate the dogs to another adjacent park when grass torn up. They really care about keeping it in great condition. Not so with Lilac park.

    excellent park

We come here every Sunday with our two dogs. There is a small side and large side. Our dogs like to do the obstacles. There are water bowls that automatically fill.

    Good Park

Small but everything you need. Dog really enjoys the tunnel and ramp.

    Small but mighty

We loved this dog park more than the other local parks. There was even a small tunnel and hurdle for dogs to use. A little on the small side but was perfect.
