The Sandbar

The Sandbar welcomes dogs to join their humans on a pet-friendly kayaking trips down the Broad River in Athens, GA. It is recommended that every dog wear a life jacket, but especially puppies, senior dogs, small pups under 30 lbs and those that are not strong swimmers. You will need to bring a life jacket for your dog. For safety reasons, dogs are not allowed when water levels are above five feet. All canine visitors should be friendly with strangers and other dogs and must be well-behaved off leash. Visit Website
