    Great hiking trails, swimming ok

Lots and lots of pretty hiking trails. The pet swim area on Cox Hollow lake was clean along with the water, a bit smaller but still room for quite a few big dogs to enjoy at once, the human beach and park area next to it are all off limits to dogs. Park employee super friendly! A girl giving us our pass just smiled as my big mouth in the back wouldn’t settle down

    Love It!

When you arrive they give you a map. It says dogs can only swim in the Cox Hollow beach area. There is a secluded spot, but not fenced in dog beach area on the Cox Hollow Lake. They ask you to leash your dogs when they aren’t swimming, which we did. Our huskies loved swimming and hiking there!
