  Delicious wines (like really good) and charcuterie choices were equally delicious. Try the hot bread with fresh local cheeses. Super welcoming of our puppy.

  Great Place For Family - Including Pets

  We really enjoy Aspen Dale - the wine is good, it’s a great place for kids, dogs get to come too and on the weekends they have live music!

  Beautiful setting, excellent wines, Fido-friendly

  We love Aspen Dale -- always one of our most-recommended wineries, and we love that it's not one of the big "social gathering" spots. You get personalized service and ample time to talk about the wines with the staff and proprietors -- and the wines are excellent, always served with a plate of various morsels to taste with each wine. Leashed dogs are welcome in the tasting room (a converted 200-year-old barn) and afterwards you can get a glass or bottle to enjoy in the garden picnic area out back with a fountain and backdrop of farm, silo, and the rising foothills of the Shenandoahs.
