Awkward that a dogs aren't allowed at the lighthouse

I had read online that this park was dog friendly, so I brought my pup with me. Turns out they're only allowed in the parking area. That's kind of awkward.

The lighthouse area doesn’t allow dogs. The park and beach are very small.
