Lovely day hike
We took our 12 yo beagle-lab mix on this hike on a wednesday afternoon. Were a little worried it would be too much for him, but he did great over the 3 miles, and did fine off leash the whole time. Only saw one other couple the entire hike. The entire hike is shaded. Would be a great hike to do with kids too. It has been dry in the area recently, but I could imaging the trail getting muddy with an significant rain. The trails and the bridges on the trails were all in great shape, No litter in site. There are no trash cans, so doggy poop has to be packed out.
