Lower Cascades Trail
Lower Cascades Trail in Hanging Rock State Park, Walnut Cove, NC, offers a short, .4 mile, dog-friendly hike that leads to a beautiful waterfall. The trail is made up of gravel, dirt, and rock that leads to the edge of gorge before descending steep wooden and stone stairs to the base of the waterfall.
