Housatonic River via Appalachian Trail is a pet-friendly route near Cornwall Bridge, CT, within Kent Falls State Park. Leashed dogs are welcome to walk beside you along this 10.4 mile out-and-back trail. An easy to moderate route which should take hikers 4.5 hrs to complete, the trail is well suited to hikers and those looking to backpack, camp or bird watch. The pretty route will lead you through open meadows with a mountain backdrop.
