Leashed dogs are welcome to join you for a walk at Pinehurst Harness Track, a pet-friendly track in Pinehurst, NC. This National Register of Historic Places facility is used for winter horse training and open for dog walking in the afternoons. Be sure to check their website in advance for availability. Great Place For Exercise
I take my dogs here for exercise, but also for training. There are sometimes horse shows, and they offer great distractions.
