Brightsdale Forest Management Unit

The Brightsdale Forest Management Unit is a pet-friendly, 900-acre segment of Richard J. Dorer Memorial Hardwood State Forest in Lanesboro, MN. Named after a historic hydroelectric plant along the Root River, it boasts a 5-mile interpretive trail offering educational tours of the forest.
