Monongahela National Forest
Elkins, WV, is home to the pet-friendly Monongahela National Forest! This park boasts breathtaking vistas, peaceful country roads, flowing streams and countless recreational activities. Dogs must be leashed at all times while in developed recreation areas. They are allowed off-leash while hiking if under voice control. Leashed dogs are also welcome to join their owners at Seneca Rocks Discovery Center. Dogs aren't permitted in swimming areas or sanitary facilities.
