Description

The University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Orthopedic Surgery is currently recruiting dogs with chronic lameness due to elbow osteoarthritis for a clinical research trail under the direction of Dr. Antonio Pozzi. This trial is testing the efficacy of umbilical cord tissue derived intra-articular mesenchymal stem cell therapy for elbow disease. Initial exam and all diagnostics including CT scan of both elbows and hips will be covered as part of the study as will the cost of follow up care, and all related study costs. Patients who qualify for and enroll in the study will receive an additional $100 upon completion of their final recheck.
