DogFest 2014

WOODCLIFF LAKE, NJ -- Canine lovers everywhere, mark your calendars: Dogfest 2014 is coming! This popular annual event, billed as “a day to celebrate dogs and the people who love them,” will be held on Sunday, August 24 from 12pm to 4pm at the Old Mill Park in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. Our 6th annual Dogfest will once again feature fun for the whole family, including raffles, face painting, prizes and giveaways, food, refreshments, children’s activities, a 50/50, music by Magic Cube Entertainment, and a vendor fair showcasing unique products and gifts perfect for spoiling the four-legged love in your life. DogFest is presented by Open Doors, An Amazing Grace Foundation, sponsored by Rally To Rescue and Community Life, and hosted by the town of Woodcliff Lake. Admission is FREE. Well-socialized dogs on 6-foot non-retractable leashes are welcome to attend, enjoy our popular “Splash Down” water play area, and compete for prizes in a number of entertaining canine contests, including Best Kisser, Best Dressed, Musical Sit, and more. The theme for this year’s event is “Who Rescued Whom,” in honor of Jessie, the sweet rescue dog (pictured above) who came into the lives of Open Doors founders Ruth and Hugo Tschudin, launching their mission to help other animals in need of adoptive homes.
