This dog friendly event will be held from 9:00 AM/10:00 AM to Until on April 18, 2015 at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, VA, US.

Admission is $20 for 5k/$10 for 1 mile -- K-9 Heroes admission is free! and benefits Friends of Hanover Dog Parks & Hanover Hounds.

Description
Preregistration is required. Start off your morning with the Pooch Pursuit 5k/1 mile fun run. All registered participants will receive a dog friendly goodie bag. The top three finishers in each age division will receive awards, and all dogs will receive honorary dog tags. Kids 12 and under are free with a paying adult. K-9 Heroes Day will begin at 10:00 AM and is free to attend. Dog friendly vendors will be on-site as well as activities and contests for both the two and four legged including a Dog Gone Spring Egg Hunt, a Frosty Paws eating contest, the fastest tail wag contest, a howling contest, and many more! Proceeds will benefit Hanover Hounds. Refreshments are available for people and pets. Dogs are required to remain on a secure leash and have up to date license and rabies vaccination.
