The Mutt Strut

Project Hope of Gunnison Valley, a non-profit providing services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse is putting on a fundraiser called: THE MUTT STRUT! The Mutt Strut will be on Saturday: 4/25/15 from 12-4pm at the Fred R Field Center. All animals attending MUST be on a leash, have up to date shots, and be kid/family friendly. Contestant entries will be accepted up to 10 minutes prior to each individual contest. Entry forms available online: http://www.hope4gv.org/outreach-events/, at the Project Hope Office, or at the Fred R. Field Western Heritage Center on the day of the event. Contestant’s entry donation is $5 for each contest, $15 for entry into unlimited contests (prices will change at the door to $10 for each contest and $20 for unlimited contest entries). All pets will be escorted by owner for the contests, and will get judged by a panel of judges and the audience to decide winners. All entrants get a participant’s gift and Prizes for 1st Place contestants. Funds raised benefit Project Hope of Gunnison Valley. Man/Mutt Look-a-like Sporting Events (1-2pm) ?Wackiest Pet Trick ?High Jump (sm/med/lg) ?Teacup Race-a race for small dogs to compete against each other and see who can cross the finish line first! The Muchin Mutt(2:20-3pm)- It is a pet friendly ice cream eating contest. Can your pet woof down the bowl of ice cream the fastest? Top Dog(3:30pm)- Is your dog The Mutt Strut's first dog to hold the title of Top Dog? Enter and find out!
