Description
Sunday, May 3 marks the Society’s 21st annual Bark in the Park – a 5K walk (for dogs and their human companions!) at Montrose Harbor followed by a celebration in the park. Bark in the Park is the Society’s single largest fundraising event of the year. Last year our sponsors and participants walked to raise over $150,000 in support of our mission. This important fundraiser was the first pet-friendly event held in the City of Chicago; and with more than 3,000 animal lovers, supporters, and walking enthusiasts attending, we anticipate this year being the best yet!
After the walk, participants will enjoy a celebration in the park complete with a canine agility course, product samples from small business sponsors, dog massages, dog tattoos, a pawdicure spa, Animal Intuitive Denise Zak, caricature artist, plus free snacks, souvenir photos, a 50/50 cash raffle, and much more!
