Description
Dachshund Rescue of North America (DRNA) is hosting their first annual Doxie Palooza. Friendly, leashed dachshunds and their families and friends are welcome. Current vaccination records are required for all dogs.
Indoor and outdoor activities will include dachshund “wiener dog” races, costume contests, prizes, pet photography, raffles and dog-related product vendors. DRNA’s book of adoptable dachshunds will be available and adoption applications will be accepted. No dogs will be adopted on the day of the event.
Proceeds will benefit DRNA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the purpose of rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing needy dachshunds and mostly dachshund mixes. Since incorporating in 1999 with representatives in the Midwest, northeast, mid-Atlantic and southeast,
DRNA has placed more than 9,000 dogs. DRNA is the largest dachshund rescue organization in the country. Go to www.drna.org.
