Description
Walk to Cure Arthritis is the Arthritis Foundation’s annual community fundraising walk event. The funds raised from the walk support our nonprofit mission and research aimed at finding a cure for arthritis, America’s leading cause of disability. Whether you have a family member or loved one who suffers from arthritis, or are simply looking for a walking or running event for charity, the Walk to Cure Arthritis is a great way to get moving in support of a worthwhile cause! May 7, 2016 - John Ball Park Zoo. 8:30 a.m. registration; 10:00 a.m. walk. Free Admission. The Walk to Cure Arthritis is features a three-mile and one-mile course, with arthritis information and activities for the entire family. Pet owners are encouraged to bring their dogs. To register online in advance, www.walktocurearthritis.org/grandrapids. Those who raise a minimum of $25 will get a pass to the zoo after the Walk. Those who raise $100 or more will receive the Official 2016 Walk to Cure Arthritis T-shirt. Contact: 616-949-9938.
